Time Bound - Instructions

To play the game, extract the zipped contents to a folder and open the Time Bound.exe file. Make sure the other files are in the same folder or else the game may not run properly.

Move through each level while defeating enemies along the way to progress through the game.

Level 1 (Fitness Center) - Navigate through the pool, locker room, weight gallery, and cardio gallery to reach the goal zone. 
Level 2 (Parking Deck) - Climb across the wreckage of cars and road signs while dodging enemy fire.
Boss (Stardust Defender) - Fire your weapons at the giant crushing machine without getting flattened or being hit by cars speeding at you from off-screen.
Level 3 (Activity Center) - Fight off clusters of Stardust bots and make your way through the wreckage.


Several types of Stardust robots will try to block your progress. 
1. Strikers are simple enemies that move left and right
2. Blasters are slower units that fire short streams of projectiles (some approach you, and other stand in place)
3. Detonators are orange bots that explode when close to a player
4. Turrets are like Blasters that shoot at players from the background, so keep your eyes peeled
5. Supernovas are large, aggressive humanoid robots that slowly approach the player before causing a massive explosion
6. Soldiers are large, aggressive enemies that fire projectiles at the player. When faced with one, try to take cover or tread carefully.

Controls:
Time Bound was designed with a proprietary platform in mind, and the controls are meant to function on a 4-player arcade cabinet. As such, the game was developed with all four players' inputs on a single full-sized keyboard (with a number pad).

Move - run left/right, crouch, aim weapon (when moving or in place)

Button 1 (Green) - fire weapon, confirm selection, choose character (when HotJoin is active)

Button 2 (Yellow) - jump, cancel selection/go back, drop through platform (while crouching), cancel HotJoin selection

Buttons 1+2 - use special move (when meter is full)

Back Button - activate HotJoin system (when active, scroll left/right to choose a character)

Player 1:
Move - Arrow keys
Button 1 - Period key (.)
Button 2 - Forward Slash/Question Mark key (/ or ?)

Player 2:
Move - WASD keys
Button 1 - Grave Accent/Tilde key (` or ~)
Button 2 - 1/Exclamation Mark key (1 or !)

Player 3
Move - IJKL keys
Button 1 - G key
Button 2 - H key

Player 4
Move - Number Pad 8456 keys
Button 1 - Number Pad 1 key
Button 2 - Number Pad 2 key

Back Button (all players) - Escape key
